CAIR - Nominee UX Design Award 2020
Air quality is an environmental issue that impacts cities across the world, in particular capitals. The London Underground currently is up to seven times above the safe limit across deeper lines. This makes it difficult for commuters in the city to avoid excess exposure, who also lack awareness of this situation. CAIR is an app that inspires knowledge about a person's exposure to bad air quality during their commute through something they're more likely to care about: step count.

CAIR Re-route information
By using CAIR, users are exposed to a significantly less polluted route on the London Underground. As shown above, Ash who commutes into Canary Wharf daily can embark on a safer trip at the cost of an additional 15 minutes.

In order to generate the idea of the concept, I used the How Might We UX tool and placed them on a matrix to view feasibility vs user experience.

The work displayed includes my Major Project and my air quality App "CAIR" which won a nominee in the New Talent Category for the UX Design Awards 2020. Theses project demonstrate strong research, and ideation using UX methods to generate creative outcomes.
The skills demonstrated include design research methods, usability testing, wireframing, low fidelity & high fidelity prototyping.
